Inspiring people to change
This management course is 1 half day.
In business today managers need to inspire their teams and act as leaders, and be able to:
- Set the direction for their team
- Get their teams to readily accept change
- Handle any uncertainty that may arise
- And above all, take their people with them and inspire them
Unfortunately many managers often feel under pressure to lead in a particularly dominant way. In business dominant leadership is rarely appropriate and attempting to be overly dominant can cause problems for the leader. Resistance from the team becomes a problem and a cycle of negative behaviours and reducing performance begins.
Likewise many managers adopt an overly submissive (or invisible) leadership style and this can lead to the team taking control. Implementing change successfully then becomes very difficult.
This course provides managers with an opportunity to step back from the day-to-day pressures and look at how to improve and adapt their management style.
Course dates for 2012:
7th December 2012 9.00am - 12.30pm Tunbridge Wells
