CASE 1 - Develop a cohesive management team
We were approached by a managing director to help with the issue of a divided senior management team. There was friction between the team members and they were not all pulling in the same direction. This had the potential to ruin the organisation.
We put together a series of sessions working with the team to help build better working relationships and clarify exactly what their role as a team was. The team identified and implemented the need to reorganise which resolved some of the frustrations. We also conducted coaching sessions on how to motivate people, deal with difficult situations and diffuse conflict.
At the end of the sessions they were a well focused management team working together for the benefit of the organisation.

CASE 2 - Deliver better performance
Having grown from three people to over forty people in just two years this is a successful company. However, the owner could see that there was no longer the enthusiasm and commitment that there had been. People were no longer taking pride in the organisation and worse still they were no longer performing. He was at the end of his tether - what could be done to get the staff performing and get them motivated?
We designed a solution for the management team. We coached them in techniques to motivate and coach their people and we helped them implement a process of performance management.
By the end of the sessions the owner had a process in place to get the best performance from his managers and likewise they were able to apply this process to their staff.

CASE 3 - Supervise more effectively
Most of the supervisors in this company had grown into their positions as the company had grown.
Very few had received any formal management training. Many of the supervisors were becoming busier and busier as they lacked the skills to delegate effectively
and deal with staff who were underperforming.
We discussed the issues with the training manager and designed a series of training and review sessions
to address the fundamentals of managing and supervising staff.
The supervisors needed to change their behaviour. The training covered effective communication, delegation,
how to address poor performance and techniques to motivate the staff.
The supervisors were left with a consistent way to motivate and manage their people that they were able to apply in their particular environment.
